The Quartier Sud International Festival brings together artists from around the world around orality by disseminating creations from cross-traffic and residences between Africa, Europe and the world. This connected universe between “all terrain” actors and “all cultures” operators and entrepreneurs is based on a permanent and borderless dialogue which each year creates ever more openness, living together and enrichment. Music concerts, workshops-conferences, slam and storytelling stages, artistic mediation, performances and exhibitions by contemporary artists. The pride of cultural diversity, the meeting between foreign cultures in a desire for reciprocity and tolerance. The enhancement of local actors, engaged in intercultural dialogue and artistic mediation. Promoting the creativity and richness of popular neighborhoods that mix traditional cultures and urban culture.
On the program: - "Cartes Blanches" for professional musicians to revisit the classical, contemporary or experimental repertoires of "the Other in oneself" - Storytelling shows under the Palaver Tree and in schools for young audiences. - Thematic workshops-conferences to prolong intercultural dialogue.

The Quartier Sud Festival sets in motion the artistic expressions of Cameroonian cultural heritage by promoting storytellers, musicians, poets, dancers, visual artists and performers from Africa, whose creations, under the palaver tree take place in our cities. Relying on the Equipe du Sud, its resource center for the arts and traditional and urban realities of Cameroon, the Festival thus contributes to meeting and opening up to the cultures of the world.
